The 6th Company Secretary Forum will take place on 23rd November, at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London.

The event is dedicated to company secretaries and senior members of the secretariat team. Many of the panellists and speakers at the event are company secretaries with first-hand experience of the issues raised.

Speakers include Dr Jay Bevington, partner at Deloitte; Sir Win Bischoff, chairman of the Financial Reporting Council and former chairman of Lloyds Banking Group; and Pamela Coles, company secretary at Rolls-Royce.

This year’s topics include board composition; diversity and evaluation; directors’ duties and stakeholder engagement; MAR: a practical perspective one year on; corporate crime and director liability; GDPR; and many more.

Organiser Thomson Reuters said that the Forum will differentiate itself from the previous five years by ensuring a higher level of participation from delegates, and interaction with speakers.

Following feedback from delegates, the organiser has reduced the numbers of breakout session choices to increase the chance for participants to hear relevant and in-depth discussions, and it hopes to bring a live-action cyber-attack simulation to the main stage.

Board Agenda is media partner to the event. Find out more about the Forum on the event website.
