Fidelio, the executive search company, is to host its latest Seat at the Table event to develop senior female executives and directors.

The event in September will see sessions on understanding shareholder and stakeholder expectations, getting to grips with formal and informal power structures, the ability to influence, and building effective networks.

Guest speakers include Professor Bon Garratt of Cass Business School; Ann Franke, chief executive of the Chartered Management Institute; Dr Harry Brunjes, chairman of the English National Opera; Chris Heimann, head of improvisation at the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts; and Susan Sternglass Noble, former global portfolio manager at The Investor Forum.

Fidelio said: “This fast-learning and immersive programme is designed to enable talented women to assume direction and purpose in their boardroom career, including balancing a major executive role with external board seats.

“Over 35% of past participants have strengthened their board portfolio and/or moved to more senior executive roles within 12 months of attending.”

The next event takes place on 6–7 September at Leeds Castle, Kent.
