Chief executive of Legal & General Investment Management to join leadership at governance watchdog, the Financial Reporting Council.
UK governance watchdog, the Financial Reporting Council, has appointed Mark Zinkula, chief executive of Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), to its board.
He takes over from Elizabeth Corley, who steps down after six years with the regulator.
Zinkula has been chief executive at LGIM since 2011 and was previously CEO of LGIM America.
Sir Win Bischoff, chairman of the FRC, said: “As CEO of a global asset management business, he will deepen the FRC’s insight into the needs of investors wherever they are based."
