Nick Hampton, chief financial officer at food ingredients business Tate & Lyle, is to become chairman of the audit committee at Great Portland Estates (GPE).
Hampton joined Tate & Lyle from PepsiCo, where he had worked for 20 years in a number of financial roles, including senior vice president and chief financial officer Europe.
He joins the GPE board as a non-executive director from 17 October.

GPE is a property investment and development business with a portfolio valued at £3.7bn, including the eye-catching 240 Blackfriars Road tower, home to UBM and law firm Boodle Hatfield.
