The Fulham Shore, a restaurant group that runs the Franco Manca and Real Greek eateries, has appointed Des Gunewardena, founder of Conran Restaurants, as a non-executive director.
Gunewardena will chair the company’s audit committee and become a member of the remuneration committee.
He was chief executive of Conran Restaurants until 2006 and currently serves on the board of First London as a non-executive.
