Simon Osborne

Simon is chief executive and a fellow of ICSA, as well as being a solicitor. Before joining ICSA, Simon was a freelance governance consultant. Until April 2003, Simon's career was in the British railway industry as general counsel, company secretary and latterly a main board executive director. From January 2005 until October 2011 (when he became chief executive of ICSA), Simon chaired ICSA's Company Secretaries Forum, which comprises mainly company secretaries from FTSE 250 companies. He is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network, serving on the Business Ethics and (as chair) the Bylaws & Procedures Committees.
