Stella David has joined the board of Domino’s Pizza Group as an independent non-executive director.
She will be a member of the board’s remuneration and nomination committees.
David is a non-executive director of Homeserve and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. She was previously chief executive of William Grant & Sons and global chief marketing officer at Bacardi. She served for seven years as a non-executive director at Nationwide Building Society and until recently was chair of C & J Clark Limited, the UK-based footwear manufacturer and retailer.
Domino’s chair Matt Shattock said: “I am delighted to welcome Stella to the Domino’s board. She brings huge experience of value creation with high-profile consumer branded companies, coupled with a depth of experience from serving on the boards of other listed companies. Her appointment marks another step in our process of refreshing the board and increasing board diversity.”
The Investment Association had been pressuring the pizza delivery firm to address its board diversity issue after the board’s sole female director departed in June 2020.
Natalia Barsegiyan and Lynn Fordham joined the board as independent non-executive directors in September 2020.
